When adding the alias accounts, invalic credential error is shown, rather it should reflect the error is due to the alias account and not the credentials!
I’m trying to add a Google Alias Account as a new account using IMAP/SMTP because we also use Sendgrid and I want the alias account to also use it. But it says invalid credentials...
I’ve checked the credentials and they’re correct.
I want to know if this error is caused because you cannot access an alias account like this.

@Borja Moll We do not recommend or support connecting alias accounts. Since aliases use the same sending account behind the scenes, it gets exposed to your provider (such as GSuite) and they can flag your sender's reputation (which would negatively impact your deliverability).
You can only add it as a separate account like you would with a new email.
