Create subsequence withouth having to "auto-add" leads

I am trying to make a subsequence for an unfinished campaign (which has been paused for a couple of weeks). I want to add everyone who has been contacted and ask if "is now a better time?", but i cant do that because i have to auto-add from your pre determined alternatives and i cant choose "contaccted" as one of them.
