Reality Check: You already have link "click" event tracking, but we're wondering whether this request addresses the following challenge we're facing (and can't imagine 1000's of your subscribers are not as well):
Our Instantly email campaign sequence begins with an email which invitees the recipient to click a link, arrive at our Hubspot-based landing page and, once there, fill out a contact form or book and event. If we'd built this email sequence within Hubspot we could obviously build highly nuanced if/then logic into what happens when they fill out the form or book event attendance (sequence ends, subsequence kicks in with follow-up comm, etc. etc.). But we (like all of here) prefer Instantly over Hubspot as a point-solution for email marketing.
But if there's no API endpoint or Zapier trigger than there's no way to either auto-halt the Instantly sequence in question OR to automatically change the lead status in Instantly or reconcile (hand-off) now warm lead to Hubspot with all relevant contact info, pipeline status, etc.
Since yours is a volume-loving subscription service the kind of onerous man-power required to update/reconcile, contact-by-contact, event-by-event, each and every lead status change becomes a total nightmare at scale no?
This must be a common use-case scenario. Perhaps we're just newbie's who are not yet versed in how power-users are working through/around this?

we need an API endpoint or zapier trigger for this please
Benjamin
Philippe LeCoutre: Yes, this is what we need as well. Not link tracking, but the ability to trigger from an external event - in our case completing a form on our website.

Benjamin: Should this be then a separate feature request???
